Sesame Seeds overview
Sesame (Sesamum indicum) is one of the oldest cultivated oilseeds and remains a staple ingredient in food industries worldwide. Its high oil content makes it valuable for crushing, while whole and hulled seeds are widely used in bakery, confectionery, tahini, and prepared foods.
Sesame seeds are one of Choice Spice International’s two major trading commodities, alongside Cassia Tora. We work with buyers on bulk sesame sourcing, starting from the seed type, quality parameters, and packaging they need, and handle every enquiry against the buyer’s own specification.
